What Makes The Quicklink Enterprise and Quad Playout Servers Unique?

The Quicklink Enterprise and Quad Playout Servers fulfil a wide range of functions to help you manage video deliveries for the best possible viewers experience.

Live Video Stream Delivery – Live Receiver

The Quicklink Live Receiver is a point-to-point live video streaming application with Forward Error Correction (FEC). It automatically plays out on HDMI and SDI outputs. The application provides a video preview (when receiving from the Quicklink Windows Bonded Live Software), audio channel levels as well as client and server technical information. A variety of interface options allow you to adjust the video data rate from the selected incoming stream. Auto FEC and Auto Latency functions together with glass to glass adjustments help minimise picture quality losses.

Live Video Stream Delivery – Quicklink Media Manager (QMM)

Powered by the Wowza Streaming Engine™, QMM allows the distribution from one simple central interface of up to 15 unbonded incoming live feeds to multiple end points. The source of the streams can be received from any Quicklink encoder. QMM is available as a cloud based service or can be hosted on the Quicklink Enterprise and Quad Playout Servers.

  • Many to many’ distribution: Receive one transmission and send out to multiple playout servers or multiple RTSP streams
  • Preview incoming video: Manage multiple incoming videos from the preview screen.
  • Switch between live video ‘on air’: Using the drag and drop functionality, easily select and switch between live videos to play them “on air”.
  • Auto-play option:  For an even quicker video distribution, tailor your settings to automatically play any streams from a specific device onto a selected channel.
  • Play out to SDI or web player: You can choose to have your QMM hosted or in house. Output can be to your Quicklink Playout server or to any RTSP streams that can be played in a web page or VLC Player. QMM is also available as a virtual machine to install on your VM cloud.
