Simpler channel and account management
The January StudioCall update introduces improvements to channel management, account allocation and connection reliability, making StudioCall easier to manage across different users and workflows.
Persistent sub-account allocation
StudioPro and StudioEdge channels can now be allocated directly to a StudioCall sub-account.
Once allocated, the association is saved and remains in place after a restart, making it easier to maintain the right channel assignments across your StudioCall account structure.
Give channels friendly names
StudioPro and StudioEdge channels can now be assigned friendly names, making it easier to identify individual channels at a glance.
This is particularly useful when managing multiple channels or devices within StudioCall.
Improved reliability and compatibility
StudioCall now automatically attempts to reconnect after extended periods of network unavailability, helping connections recover without requiring manual intervention.
The update also adds support for UTF-8 characters, allowing users and guests to use accented Latin, Cyrillic and Asian characters.
