StudioEdge Expands Zoom Support with Enhanced Zoom Capabilities
StudioEdge continues to expand its integration with Zoom, giving broadcasters more flexibility when bringing remote contributors and online content into their workflows.
The latest StudioEdge update introduces Zoom Webinar support and improves the way StudioEdge handles Active Speaker and Screen Share, making it easier to work with a wider range of Zoom sessions and content.
Expanded Zoom Webinar Support
With the latest Zoom integration, StudioEdge now supports Zoom Webinars, extending the types of Zoom sessions that can be brought into a StudioEdge workflow.
Zoom Webinars are designed for sessions where one or more hosts present to an audience, making them particularly useful for presentations, interviews, discussions and other structured online events.
For StudioEdge users, this provides another way to incorporate Zoom-based contributors and sessions into their existing workflow without having to rely on a separate process for Webinar content.
Improved Active Speaker Handling
The update also brings improved handling of Zoom’s Active Speaker functionality.
Active Speaker identifies the participant currently speaking in a Zoom session. With the updated integration, StudioEdge provides improved handling of this functionality, helping users work more effectively with changing speakers during a live session.
This is particularly useful for conversations involving multiple remote participants, where the person speaking can change throughout the session.
Enhanced Screen Share Support
StudioEdge also benefits from improved handling of Zoom Screen Share.
Screen sharing allows a Zoom participant to present supporting content such as slides, graphics, websites or other on-screen material. The updated Zoom integration improves StudioEdge’s handling of this content, giving users greater flexibility when incorporating shared screens alongside remote contributors.
This makes it easier to combine people and presentation content from a Zoom session as part of the wider StudioEdge workflow.
More Flexibility for Remote Contribution
Together, these updates give StudioEdge users greater flexibility when working with Zoom.
Whether connecting with contributors through a standard Zoom session, working with a Webinar, managing conversations between multiple participants or incorporating shared content, StudioEdge’s updated Zoom integration provides improved support for these workflows.
The update builds on StudioEdge’s existing ability to bring remote contributors from platforms such as Zoom into a professional broadcast environment, while continuing to expand the range of features that can be used within those platforms.
