More flexibility with isolated recording
QuickLink StudioPro v4.1.2 introduces Isolated Recording (ISO) and NDI Recording, giving you greater flexibility in how you capture your productions.
Rather than recording only the final mixed output, you can record individual sources such as cameras, microphones and media separately. Each source is saved as its own high-quality file, giving you more options when working with your content after the recording.
This makes it easier to edit individual camera angles, adjust audio, create replays, and repurpose content without being limited to the original programme output.
Record individual sources
ISO and NDI Recorders can be added directly to the StudioPro interface and configured for the source you want to capture.
For ISO Recording, you can select an individual StudioPro source and define how the recording should be stored, including:
- File path – Choose where recordings are saved.
- Filename formatting – Add date and time information to filenames.
- Recording format – Choose between MP4, MOV and MKV.
- Automatic file splitting – Set recordings to split based on time, file size or a maximum duration.
Once configured, recording can be started or stopped directly from the StudioPro interface.
Independent audio monitoring
StudioPro v4.1.2 also introduces an Audio Monitor filter, allowing audio to be routed independently to a playback device.
You can send audio to speakers, headphones, soundcards or external audio equipment such as an audio mixer, giving you a dedicated monitoring output alongside your main StudioPro audio.
The Audio Monitor takes its signal before StudioPro’s audio processing. This means that muting or disabling audio in the main audio mixer does not affect the signal being sent to the selected monitoring device.
Simple monitoring setup
The Audio Monitor can be added through StudioPro’s Filters feature, where you can then select the playback device you want to use.
This provides a straightforward way to monitor audio independently from the main mix, whether you’re using headphones, speakers or external audio equipment.
